Browns Community Development Center Inc. (BCDC) is dedicated to improving lives through affordable housing, education, and community enrichment. We serve youth, seniors, and disadvantaged individuals in Pompano Beach and Broward County. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all, addressing gaps in housing and supporting economic independence.

We envision a community where every family has access to quality housing and opportunities for personal growth. We aim to lead in providing decent housing, fostering self-sufficiency, and supporting economic independence for all citizens.

Goals:

1. Enhance Board Awareness: Strengthen and develop board oversight and engagement.
2. Professional Management: Develop sustainable revenue streams and attract top  talent.
3. Affordable Housing:  Provide decent, affordable housing for low-to-moderate-income families and  seniors in Pompano Beach.
4. Safe Activities:  Offer safe and nurturing activities for youth and seniors.
5. Economic Independence: Support families in becoming self-sufficient and      economically independent.

Overview:

For over 20 years, Browns CDC has been a cornerstone in Pompano Beach, particularly in Collier City. We organize numerous community events, including health fairs, food distributions, scholarships, seminars, youth and senior programs. Highlights include the "Annual Collier City Family Fun Day," which promotes economic development through various activities like health screenings, job fairs, and cultural events. Our efforts aim to enhance quality of life and foster community unity.
